I've been hearing a lot of good things about Substance Painter, and tutorials like this are really showing me what it's capable of for rapid detailing of intricate assets. Although it's totally impossible to be fluent in every single program available to a digital artist, I find it pays dividends to be at least aware of what's out there. You never know if a job is going to come up that might benefit from an obscure program or plugin.
It's really helpful when artists like Tim Bergholz take time out of their lives to share their knowledge to help other artists achieve the daunting task of staying 'up-to-date'. Thanks so much!
