I recently completed a post-grad in tertiary education with Victoria University. I haven't been a student / graduate for something like 12 years, so it was definitely strange to be doing assignments and getting grades again. It's never too late to learn something new though, right?
I have been thinking for a few years now that it might be fun to get into the education space and help prepare people for the real demands of the industry - but this requires a new set of skills and qualifications.
I was really impressed at how far the body of knowledge around learning and teaching has come, particularly in the last 20 years, and I got a lot out of this course. Not sure when it will be put into practice just yet, but time will tell.
