I recently stumbled upon this article showcasing the photography of Gennaro Bassolino. It's actually an op-ed about a particular camera, but the photography itself is just gorgeous, so I wanted to share it here. I love the velvety depth of field, and the way the forced-cyan highlights play off the more natural honeycomb tones. Focus and composition are all pinpoint accurate, and drop you immediately into the human-zone of the photograph, making for very evocative imagery. Tremendous work, whoever you are.
